Business.com is one of the most established web directory on the Internet that is highly recommended by SEOs. It is my favourite directory because unlike BOTW or Yahoo (it’s virtually impossible to get listed in DMOZ), the inner pages have high PageRank and there aren’t that many outgoing links on each page. But hours after submitting a new listing yesterday, it looks to me like Business.com revamped their site and all my listings are completely GONE!
So after Farmer/Panda update, does SEO link-building on Article Directories still works? Watch Google’s Matt Cutts reply on the subject, just prior to the algo update:
Note: I’d advise taking it with a pinch of salt because based on my experience, Google has not been completely honest with what they say. Some of their messages seem to be designed to scare and discourage.
