Jan & Elly provides Phonics Classes for kids in Singapore, between ages four to twelve years old. Founded in 1995 by Elly Sim, the school also teaches Creative Writing and Grammar, and helps students prepare for their English PSLE exams through their two branches at Bukit Timah and Serangoon Gardens.
Phonics is a teaching method for reading English, by connecting sounds with letters or groups of letters. The goal is to enable these kids to speak English more accurately.
Jan & Elly's comprehensive English PSLE course is MOE-compliant, and includes strengthening the student's oral skills (speech and presentation) and preparing them with smart exam strategies to score better.
