HomeCamera.com is a DIY Internet home surveillance system that works with ANY webcam. Simply download the free webcam software to turn your ordinary webcam into a powerful home surveillance camera. The service also works with selected network cameras, like Dlink's
DCS2120 wireless IP camera.
An online storage is provided for storing captured images and videos. You can view these surveillance images/videos using an Internet-connected PC, PDA or cellphone. The images/videos can also be shared with anyone by providing them login access.
Apart from remote monitoring, the other benefits compared to traditional CCTV systems include motion detection, SMS notification and on-demand image/video capture.
