Wow! I can’t believe that Microsoft is already preparing to launch it’s new Windows 7. It certainly brings back some nice memories. I remember starting with a Vista wallpaper website, then a blog, an Amazon affiliate site and finally, a forum. All in all, I made more than US$50,000 from these websites alone. More importantly, that experience got me to where I am today. The recipe was simple, focus on a popular yet uncompetitive theme, build the website using non-commercial scripts, perform SEO, insert the ads and start making money. It’s not difficult and definitely more profitable than those “make money” blogs. So that was how I spent my Sunday - creating a Windows 7 blog cum affiliate site, and a wallpaper website. I couldn’t plug-in the affiliate codes yet because Amazon is still not taking pre-orders at the moment. The two sites are: Both sites are still incomplete but I’m happy with how I could achieve so much in a day, especially making that many blog posts. Guess I’ve become much better at copying-pasting-and-rewriting articles from my SEO experience. The next step is optimizing them for search engines and thankfully, both have good domain names for a start. Can I make anything out of them? It’s the same recipe but less attention since I’m no longer focused on websites. But who knows, right?! ;)
