Popular’s digital arm just launched an e-learning portal in Singapore called eduPOP. I personally think it’s pretty cool because kids start on computers from a very young age these days and instead of playing games (my 6 year old niece spends the whole afternoon playing the bubble game on Yahoo), they could spend their time more productively on the many interactive educational programs available there. eduPOP is targeted at both primary and secondary school students, which means that the content is compliant with MOE guidelines. The portal consists of 2 different areas - E-Assessment and E-Learning. E-Assessment contains self-assessment papers, including topical and full examination papers, that are curriculum-based. There is auto-marking ability with detailed explanations, cheat prevention and parents are able to track their child’s performance. E-Learning contains a library of interactive online learning programs that are based on the curriculum for PSLE, and GCE “O” and “N” Levels. Like E-Assessment, there are auto-marking, detailed explanations and progress tracking features for parents.

Thank your for this.
Very helpful!
