Singapore Job Agency

I’ve often stressed about the importance of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and having a strong presence on the Internet. Out of all the reasons I’ve suggested, from increasing sales leads to brand protection, this has to be a first - getting a job!

Yup, somehow a job agency in Singapore found me and offered me a job as Regional Media Director for the interactive (i.e. online marketing) division in “one of the leading global communications company in Singapore”. I’ve read from Marketing-Interactive since last year that most ad agencies in Singapore are excited about online marketing so this didn’t really come as a surprise.

Should I make that move and will I even make it to the second round? After settling in to the laid-back life in Malaysia and flexi working hours, the job offer should definitely be compelling enough for me to move back to Singapore. I definitely expect a generous paycheck but will it be enough to offset the higher cost of living, stresses from datelines and targets and long working hours? I’d certainly appreciate the opinions of fellow Singapore bloggers who are from the local advertising industry before making a decision. :)
