Windows Vista Forum

There are 3 things that you should know about this forum - (1) it’s owned by me, (2) it’s probably the biggest Windows Vista forum and (3) we’re giving away $1,000 worth of prizes.

TheVistaForums.com was started back in January 2006, one year before Windows Vista’s official launch. It’s main objective was to provide peer-to-peer support for Windows Vista RC and Beta versions. Today, we have expanded to cover many more relevant topics but the primary focus is still on Windows Vista. We even have our own RSS gadget and weekly podcasts, managed by a volunteer in Canada.

Our community has also grown to over 20,000 members, and we receive 6,000 to 8,000 visitors a day. We have been referenced by print and online publications, and enjoy premium listing on Google’s search results (see below).

Windows Vista

Naturally, we are thankful to our members for their support and am therefore organizing an event, so that we have an excuse to give away prizes. One of our members suggested we hold a “virtual” gathering so that’s exactly what we’re doing - you only need to show up on that date/time to win.

Eset NOD32 3.0 Antivirus

Eset, a leading antivirus software company, has sponsored 10 copies of the recently launched NOD32 v3.0 antivirus and a copy of Smart Security as the grand prize. All software comes with a 2-year subscription and worth over $1,000. I have been using AVG Free all these years but was willing to pay US$90 for Smart Security - go figure! ;)

So if you have Windows Vista, head on over to The Vista Forums and register. You’ll find answers if you have questions, and if you’re already a Vista guru you can always help others in return for that warm, fuzzy feeling.

P/S: our gathering is on Monday, 26th Nov at 11:30pm to 12:00am (Singapore time).
