Just happened to lookup the term ‘seo consultant‘ on Google and found my website ranked #7 on the global search results - yipee! It’s a satisfying feeling because apart from ’seo services’ and ’seo company’, this is the keyphrase targeted by other SEOs. Funny thing is it doesn’t show across all other datacenters …hmmm. I guess I’d better pop the bubbly and celebrate my 2 seconds of glory before Google changes its mind. :)

Online press releases are a cheap yet effective tool for SEO and to generate publicity. Taking PRleap.com as an example, you can use anchor text (i.e. keywords) in your links and get syndicated on Google/Yahoo news for as little as $20.

What’s the fastest time it took for your website to get indexed on Google’s search results - a month, a week or a day? How about 7 minutes?! I’ve read about Google working hard to improve the freshness of their search results but this certainly came as a surprise to me.
