You’ve probably noticed by now that Google has updated the look and feel of its search results page. The bad news is many of us prefer the simple, uncluttered classic version of Google search - heck, it’s the reason why I used Google instead of Yahoo in the first place!
Benjamin Edelman of Harvard Business School recently co-authored a paper entitled “Measuring Typosquatting Perpetrators and Funders”. In the paper, he concluded that Google makes US$497mil a year from typosquatting on the top 100,000 websites.

Microsoft yesterday launched Bing, their new search engine. The initial response has been neutral at best, with some critics ridiculing the effort on their blog as “Bing Goes Live …or is it Live Goes Bing?” (Microsoft’s previous search engine was called Live) and “BING - But It’s Not Google”.
