The last two weeks have been pretty hectic. I was in Singapore, Malacca and now KL, doing 16 meetings in between. Besides clients, I also touched base with a couple of industry players that are important for my plans.
I’ve been particularly busy these last 2 months, from work and personal stuff, which explains the lack of updates here. Not surprisingly, I was in desperate need of retail therapy and ended up buying 2 laptops this month - we now have 6 laptops in the house!
I’m sure you’ve been asked that question before in your day-to-day job, especially if you’re in retail. I’ve certainly been asked that many times in my last 12 months as a freelance consultant, regardless of whether the client is a freelancer like myself or a big, public-listed company. Everybody wants cheaper!
While everyone was happily celebrating Christmas and the New Year, I was up in KL conducting corporate training on Internet Marketing. Although the $1,500/day was attractive, it was the challenge of public speaking that drew me.
